홀랜드 파크(Holland Park) 는 캐나다 브리티시컬럼비아 주 서리 시에 있는 공원으로 , 센트럴 시티 옆 Whalley/City Center 내에 위치해 있습니다 . 규모는 10헥타르(25에이커)이며 도시에서 가장 큰 공원은 아니지만 서리 도심의 "센트럴 파크"라고 불립니다. [1] 원래는 사용되지 않고 조경되지 않은 땅이었으나, 써리 시는 이 지역을 도시 공원으로 지정하고 2000년대 중반에 탈바꿈했습니다.

공원은 중앙에 위치하므로 일년 내내 수많은 행사와 모임의 중심지가 되었습니다. 연례 퓨전 페스티벌, 써리 프라이드(Surrey Pride), 다양한 음악 모임, 기타 시민 및 문화 행사가 공원 내에서 열렸습니다. 2010년에 홀랜드 파크는 게임 기간 동안 밴쿠버 동계 올림픽 축하 행사 중 하나를 주최하기도 했습니다. 2015년 홀랜드 파크는 캐나다 서부 최대 규모의 도시 음악 축제인 'FVDED In The Park'의 주요 장소가 되었으며, 2023년을 제외하고 매년 국제적으로 성공한 많은 음악가들을 불러 모았습니다. [2]

Holland Park is a park in the city of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, located within Whalley / City Centre beside Central City. It is 10 hectares (25 acres) in size and although it is not the largest park in the city, it has been called the "Central Park" of Surrey city centre.[1] Originally a piece of land that was unused and not landscaped, the city of Surrey designated the area as an urban park and was transformed in the mid-2000s.

As the park is centrally located, it has become the focal point of a multitude of events and congregations throughout the year. The annual Fusion Festival, Surrey Pride, various music gatherings as well as other civic and cultural events have taken place within the park. In 2010, Holland Park also hosted one of the Vancouver Winter Olympics celebrations during the games. In 2015, Holland Park became the primary location for 'FVDED In The Park', western Canada's largest in city music festival, bringing in many internationally successful musicians every year, with the exception of 2023.[2]

Transportation[edit]

Holland Park is accessible by numerous bus services including TransLink's R1 rapid bus as well as the regional SkyTrain system, with the closest station being the King George station.
