ACanadian and a Swedish citizen died alongside the two Americans who died recently fighting Russian forces in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine, the commander of the battalion in which they were serving told the U.S. news portal Politico.

The two Americans have been identified as Luke 'Skywalker' Lucyszyn and Bryan Young, who died on July 18 along with Canadian Emile-Antoine Roy-Sirois and Swede Edvard Selander Patrignani, according to commander Ruslan Miroshnichenko.
All of them were part of an international special operations force within the Territorial Defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and were killed in the locality of Hryhorivka -- about 20 kilometers from the strategic position of Bakhmut in Donetsk -- ambushed by Russian tanks.
The deaths of the two Americans were confirmed Saturday by the White House. The governments of Sweden and Canada have not commented on the matter for the time being.
