Don't Worry Darling Has People Worried

Don't Worry Darling is an upcoming film directed by Olivia Wilde about a stay-at-home wife who discovers that the community she lives in with her husband's company is not what it seems. The film stars Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, and Wilde.

Don't Worry Darling has been highly anticipated for some time, even though there has been recent drama surrounding the cast and director, as well as a situation involving Styles spitting on Pine at the Venice Film Festival, although that has been debunked. Even with a low Rotten Tomatoes score out of the gate, the film is undoubtedly anticipated ahead of its September 23rd release.

Amsterdam Is A Stacked Murder Mystery

David O. Russell, known for directing Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle, is back with his latest film, Amsterdam. The film is about a doctor, a nurse, and a lawyer who witness a murder and become wrapped in a messy case.

Halloween Ends Is The Culmination Of A Legend

A long time has passed since the release of John Carpenter's Halloween in 1974, and the battle between Laurie Strode and Michael Myers is finally ending. Halloween Ends, directed by David Gordon Green, is a direct sequel to the 2018 film Halloween that sees Laurie attempting to move on with her life, only to be dragged back in for one final fight.

The film will star Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichuk, and Will Patton, and it certainly has horror fans excited about what comes next for the franchise. Halloween Ends hits theaters on October 14th, just in time for the spooky season.

The trailer officially dropped earlier this summer at San Diego Comic Con, further creating interest in the film that explores Wakanda after T'Challa's death. Most of the cast has returned for the sequel, including Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke, and Danai Gurira. One thing's for sure: fans will be very emotional watching this on November 11th as they celebrate Boseman's life.

The Fabelmans Is Spielbergs Next Big Thing

Steven Spielberg is an all-time legendary director, having worked on some of the most popular films. So it's no wonder that when he has a new movie coming out, people are curious to see what he's got next. This time, it's The Fabelmans, a film that follows a young boy growing up after World War II who discovers how films can help him navigate a crazy family secret.

The movie stars Gabriel LaBelle, Michelle Williams, Paul Dano, Seth Rogen, and Judd Hirsch. It debuted with raving reviews and will be available for all to see on November 11th.

The Whale Is The Return Of Brendan Fraser

One film that received massive applause at the Venice Film Festival is Darren Aronofsky's upcoming movie, The Whale, starring Brendan Fraser and Sadie Sink. The movie is about an obese teacher who attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter.

Not only does the movie seem to build upon Sink's budding career, but it is resurrecting Fraser's. He received a six-minute standing ovation in Venice following a screening, with some saying he could even win an Oscar. The Whale hits theaters on December 9th for all to see.

It's Time For Audiences To Return To Pandora

When Avatar hit theaters in 2009, it was a massive success and remains the highest-earning film at the box office. Avatar is a visual masterpiece, and it was technologically groundbreaking, so it makes sense for many to wonder what has happened in Pandora in the 13 years since the film came out.

Avatar: The Way of Water, also directed by James Cameron, will bring audiences back to what made them fall in love in the first place. Also returning are Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, and Sigourney Weaver, along with newcomer Kate Winslet. The long-awaited sequel hits the big screen on December 16th.

Glass Onion Is The Next Benoit Blanc Mystery

Knives Out was a smashing success, so it's no surprise that Rian Johnson got right to work on a sequel. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is the next case for Benoit Blanc as he travels to Greece to solve another mystery.

Similar to the first one, this film has a star-studded cast that includes Daniel Craig, Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr, Kathryn Hahn, Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, and Dave Bautista. Whatever mystery Detective Blanc gets himself wrapped up in, there's no doubt he can solve the case. The sequel is released theatrically in November and hits Netflix on December 23rd.

Babylon Will Be A Spectacle

If there's one director fans can count on to make a spectacle, it's Damien Chazelle. The director of La La Land and Whiplash is back with what may be his biggest film yet. Babylon is a massive film that follows a bunch of people in Hollywood in the 1920s trying to follow their dreams, but falling victim to the depravity of the time.

The film stars Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, and Tobey Maguire, and with the recent release of the trailer, it no doubt looks to have the potential to be one of the best films of the year. Fans will get to check it out just before the new year as it releases on Christmas Day.
